Ann Dunwoody, former commanding general of the U.S. Army Materiel Command, gives the keynote address at the 12th annual Shelton Leadership Forum on Friday, Nov. 8. The address, “Creating Organizational Culture: Breaking Through the Glass Ceiling,” comes at the midway point of the daylong event at the McKimmon Center. Other participants include Miss North Carolina Johna Edmonds, ESPN chairman George Bodenheimer and a panel of business leaders.
The annual forum is sponsored by the General H. Hugh Shelton Leadership Center, established at NC State in 2002 to assist in the development of the next generation of values-based leaders. Shelton, an NC state alumnus and former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, heads the organization’s board of advisers.
