Climate Pioneer Malone Dies

University Distinguished Scholar Thomas F. Malone, a science adviser to the Kennedy administration who warned of climate change as early as 1970, died July 6 at his home in West Hartford, Conn. He was 96. The journal Environmental Development called Malone “an influential voice in the expansion of meteorological research,” in an online obituary. Read the full article.
