NC State’s Short Story Contest winners will be announced Wednesday, Nov. 7 by guest judge Tony Earley, who will also read from his own work.
Earley is an American novelist and short-story writer whose work includes “Jim the Boy,” “Here We Are in Paradise,” and “Somehow Form a Family.” His stories have appeared in the New Yorker, Harper’s and Esquire. He is professor of English at Vanderbilt University.
Earley will announce the winners of the short story contest at 7:30 p.m. from the Kennedy-McIIwee Studio Theatre in Thompson Hall. The event is sponsored by the NC State Literary Reading series and is open to the public. Read more.
