NC State’s acclaimed pianist and Assistant Teaching Professor Olga Kleiankina will perform a recital titled Russian Music: From Mysticism to Lyricism. The concert runs on Sunday, Nov. 11 from 4 to 5 p.m. in Stewart Theatre and will feature the works of Scriabin, Medtner and Rachmaninoff. All three began their professional musical journeys at the Moscow Imperial Conservatory before the Russian revolution,  but their compositions followed different paths to present unique views of Russian culture.
